Anonymous asked: WHY DO MEN HAVE NIPPLES. IT'S NOT NORMAL.
I’m not 100% sure why have men have nipples. Some say it is for the same reason women do, although men do not have mammary glands. Men do not need them, because they do not nurse their young, but I believe it is because we share DNA with both of our biological parents, And where a female has nipples, we all inherit half from our mothers, so wouldn’t it make sense that men had them too? I mean human offspring are essentially copies of their parents.
EDIT: My friend, magiadelotus.tumblr.com, Reminded me that essentially all babies before fine developments in the womb take place, are female. So this being said, a male baby’s nipples will just carry over from being female. Testosterone is what makes the baby male, And this is caused by having a Y chromosome.
I hope this helps, anon.
